2. Our products and services

We provide educational resources, online courses, memberships, group support, live sessions, digital downloads and other online products and services.

The details of what is included in each product or service will be explained on the relevant sales or product page when you purchase.

We will provide products and services substantially as described at the time of purchase.

Where a programme has a specific start date, duration or schedule, this will be stated before you purchase.

3. Payments

Prices are shown on the relevant sales or checkout page.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not have access to your full payment card details.

Unless a payment plan or subscription is specifically stated, purchases are one-off payments and there are no recurring charges.

You are responsible for providing accurate payment and billing information and ensuring that your payment can be processed.

4. Access to digital products and services

When you purchase a digital product, course or membership, you will receive access according to the terms stated on the relevant product page.

Some programmes may have a future start date or release content gradually. Where this applies, the relevant dates will be clearly explained before purchase.

Access is personal to you and must not be shared with another person.

You must not share your login details, course materials, downloads or private access links with anyone else.

5. Our content and intellectual property

All course materials, guides, videos, written content, graphics, downloads and other materials provided by Hysterectomy Support and Shared Experiences belong to us or are used with permission.

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the materials for your own personal use.

You must not copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell, publish, upload or share our materials with other people without our written permission.

6. Community and group participation

Some products and programmes include access to private Facebook groups, Heartbeat communities, WhatsApp groups, Zoom sessions or other community spaces.

These spaces are intended to be supportive, respectful and inclusive.

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, bully or abuse another participant

  • Share another person's private information outside the community

  • Reproduce or distribute another member's contributions without their permission

  • Use the community to promote or sell your own products or services without permission

  • Deliberately disrupt the community or live sessions

  • Behave in a way that makes the space unsafe, hostile or inappropriate for others

We reserve the right to remove someone from a community or programme where their behaviour seriously breaches these rules.

Where appropriate, we will try to deal with issues fairly and proportionately.

7. Health information and medical disclaimer

The information provided through Hysterectomy Support and Shared Experiences is educational and supportive. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Hysterectomy Support and Shared Experiences does not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe treatment.

You should always speak to an appropriately qualified healthcare professional about your individual medical circumstances, symptoms, treatment or concerns.

You are responsible for deciding whether any information, activity or suggestion is appropriate for you.

8. Live sessions

Where a product includes live sessions, we will provide details of the dates and how to join.

Occasionally, a session may need to be changed, postponed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If this happens, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative date or appropriate alternative.

9. Cancellation and refunds

Your cancellation and refund rights depend on the product or service you purchase and, where applicable, the consumer protection laws in the country where you live.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

For digital products and courses, you may be asked at checkout to agree that access or delivery begins immediately. Where the law allows, this may affect your statutory right to cancel once digital content has been supplied.

If you have a problem with something you have purchased, please contact us at:

admin@hysterectomy-support.com

We will always try to resolve problems fairly.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to products and services

We may occasionally need to make reasonable changes to our products, content, programme schedules or services.

Where a change is significant and affects something you have already purchased, we will make reasonable efforts to let you know and, where appropriate, provide a suitable alternative.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time if our business, services or legal requirements change.

The version that applies to your purchase will generally be the version in effect when you entered into the agreement, unless a later change is required by law or you otherwise agree to it.

The latest version will always be available on this website.

13. Your legal rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions removes or limits any legal rights you have as a consumer.

If you live outside the UK, nothing in these Terms & Conditions prevents you from relying on mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.

14. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living outside the UK, this does not prevent you from relying on any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.

If you have a problem or dispute, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it informally.
